While living in the material world, our identity and purpose for living may shift from one thing to another, usually based on our circumstances. But this is all temporary and changes constantly. However, sometimes we feel that we are a part of something far bigger than ourselves. And yes, we are a part of something much more significant than we realize. The reason why is that beyond all that is our spiritual identity. As a spiritual being, we are as eternal as God is, an expansion of His ever-existing energy, and this connection with God never changes. For this reason, we are also a part of His unconditional love which continually shines on us, if we are receptive to it.
